Description: This dataset was created using the intersecting point of a controlled intersection and represents all Metro/State traffic control signal devices controlling a given intersection as maintained by Louisville Metro public works traffic engineering department. The Traffic Signals dataset is used in AccessMetro (Accela) Asset Sync Service for maintenance and asset tracking of alltraffic control assets controlling that particular intersection and does not represent individual traffic light assets (traffic light, control box).
Description: Edits were made to include the bridges project in January 2017. These are temporary changes until the photogrammetric changes can be completed Spring 2017.
Description: The TARC.Fixed_Route dataset contains all fixed routes serving the Louisville metropolitan regional area. One shape and one corresponding record exists for each individual transit route. The line work for the dataset was derived from the ADDRESS.Street_Network.streetcenterlines dataset. A number of line segments have been added to those available from the streetcenterlines dataset to completely depict all routes traveled by fixed-route transit vehicles.
Description: The TARC_Shelters dataset contains all point locations of shelters at bus stops in the Louisville metropolitan area. One shape and one record exists for each individual stop location. Data is updated to August 2017.
Description: Midblock crossings offer pedestrians and bicyclists approved locations to legally cross a street other than a fully controlled intersection, such as an all-way stop or traffic signal. This list can be used by the public, researchers, and roadway owners, such as Louisville Metro Government or the state, to prioritize safety improvements at existing midblock crossing locations and help standardize criteria for considering requests for new crossings or evaluate existing locations.
Description: High Injury Network for Jefferson County, Kentucky using 2018-2022 crash data, joined with Louisville Metro’s Street Centerline data, to support the Vision Zero Louisville transportation safety initiative. A High Injury Network is a data-driven approach which identifies non-interstate roadway segments that account for a disproportionate amount of a community's fatal and serious injury crashes.
